Today we reviewed progress on the block diagram and narrative [1]. 1. Ann described her thoughts on updating the block diagram, including having multiple views (e.g. a simple view which has all the key high level components together with drill downs of the details of the components). 2. We discussed various layers of the narrative * The simple narrative of outlining in text the importance of each block has a great start * The second layer outlines the workflow: scenarios of how different components of the block diagram interrelate and depend on each other during usage. * The third layer infers from the second layer what areas are vital for standardization, where standardization already exists, or may be less important 3. For both the block diagram and narrative there will be another iteration in the next week. Ann has the lead on the block diagram working with Evan and Lloyd. Lloyd has the lead on the narrative working with Ann and Evan. Everyone else is welcome to volunteer and pitch in. * Focus of the narrative for next week is the second layer; very optimistically we might start the third layer. 4. We discussed the possibility of teeing up workshops at the AC meeting in 3 weeks. Among those discussed were: * Social business with Open Social (Steve responsible) * Mobile Social with OMA (Claudio responsible) 5. Next meeting is 30 April, 10 AM ET.
