Hello all, ActivityPub has made a lot of progress... I even did a live demo of ActivityPub working with both client to server and server to server (ie, federation) support at TPAC. We're looking to move to Candidate Recommendation status by October 11th, but in order to get there, we need to get proper wide review! That means we need *YOUR* feedback! :) Here's the latest specs: - https://www.w3.org/TR/activitypub/ <- Working draft - https://w3c.github.io/activitypub/ <- Editor's draft (the latest!) You can send feedback in a number of ways: - Reply to this thread! - File issues on the issue tracker: https://github.com/w3c/activitypub/issues - Email me, personally (though know that I'll be putting your comments publicly on the social working group wiki, though you can be anonymous if you like): send to cwebber AT dustycloud DOT org, with "ActivityPub" somewhere in the subject. - Add it to the wiki yourself, if you have access...! (I'm not sure who does have access to these things...) https://www.w3.org/wiki/Socialwg/ActivityPub_wide_review Thanks! I'm really looking forward to hearing your review :) - Christopher Allan Webber on behalf of ActivityPub and the Social Working Group PS: Jason Robinson and Michael Vogel provided feedback about the desirability of signatures, verifying content, and forwarding messages with signatures. I've included this in the review section, since it was public feedback already anyway: https://www.w3.org/wiki/Socialwg/ActivityPub_wide_review#Jason_Robinson_and_Michael_Vogel_on_the_desirability_of_signatures.2C_and_how_Diaspora_does_it I hope that answered things and got things right!
