Invited Speaker Proposal and Draft List

Everyone,

PROPOSAL: Every other call will be an "invited speaker" call
where we will have an invited speaker (who may be a member of the XG)
to discuss a technology or project that may have a substantial impact
on the future of W3C standardization in social networking. Speakers to
be organized via wiki. The speaker will have at most a 30 minute
presentation, with then 30 minutes for questions and open discussion.

Here is a draft list of invited speakers [1]. It's basically based
on the groups listed in our charter, with me brain-storming people we
know and people who have actively expressed interest in this Incubator
Group in the past. I'm sure it's far from complete, and has particular
weaknesses in the area of Mobile, such as a lack of a contact person
with the Oslo Alliance. Please, do add and fill it in! I suggest that
if the group comes to consensus on this idea, the next step will be
actually inviting people (ideally, using friends or friends of a
friend) and then working on a schedule. Also, remember that more or
less we can only have 20-some some invited speakers over the course of
our charter next year if we chose the biweekly plan.

Filling in for DanBri now :)

               cheers,
                  HarryH
