Updated Charter - Please Edit and Discuss

Everyone,

Here is the latest version of the draft charter [1]. For those new to W3C e-mail style the URI is http://esw.w3.org/topic/SocialWebXGCharter.

I made some changes in an attempt to reflect the emerging consensus of the workshop, but I am sure I have left alot out. I'd like to see two
things:

    1) Everyone whose interested in actually being part of the XG e-mail the list with their name and organization, whether or not they are a W3C member, and if they are a W3C member, please add yourself to the wiki under " Initiating Members" by editing "* YOUR NAME HERE *". Remember to copy a spare "* YOUR NAME HERE *" for the next person.

    2) Read the charter. Feel free (really!) to make edits and comments to the charter itself. If you are not sure and want to discuss and debate (please do!), just e-mail public-social-web-talk@lists.w3.org.

Within two-three weeks, hopefully consensus will emerge on the charter and then we can finalize it. Since I've edited the draft, I feel like I've had my say already, so I'm going to let it go into the wild and see what happens and not maintain any control of it for the next bit of time.

Also, feel free to make *major* rewrites to the draft. It is a wiki, so we can always role it back. Also, if you feel we should have
multiple, as opposed to one XG, do say so. I'm still very much undecided on the matter.

       cheers,
             harry
