ISSUE-4 (Living Vocabs): management of 'living' vocabularyies similar to microformats.org and schema.org [Social Vocabularies] http://www.w3.org/Social/InterestGroup/track/issues/4 Raised by: Pavlik elf On product: Social Vocabularies related to WG ISSUEs * #15: AS2.0 Vocabulary in many ways duplicates microformats.org and schema.org efforts *https://www.w3.org/Social/track/issues/15) * #16: better separate grammar/vocabulary and improved spec structure (https://www.w3.org/Social/track/issues/16) Currently Activity Streams 2.0 Vocabulary includes 'Extended Classes': http://www.w3.org/TR/activitystreams-vocabulary/#extendedtypes Other approach would keep only terms fundamental to Activity Streams 2.0 Core in the Vocabulary and use extension mechanism for more specific terms. This could work well together with 'living' vocabulary similar to http://microformats.org and http://schema.org or even better by finding a way to coordinate efforts with those two. Yet another example comes from current work in xAPI community * http://xapi.adlnet.mobi/verbs/ We can find similar distinction between Core and Extended Terms in SIOC and OPO, but to my understanding they don't manage those vocabularies as 'living' ones. * https://www.w3.org/wiki/Socialig/Vocabulary_TF#Vocabularies
