Thanks so much Arnaud! After all these years, I'm embarrassed by how little I still know. Someone sent me these notes on how to set up and run a meeting with W3C tools, which includes Zakim (telecon), RRSagent (records IRC discussion), Scribe (generates formatted minutes) and Tracker (tracks issues and actions): http://www.w3.org/WAI/PF/wiki/Teleconference_cheat_sheet#Step_1:_Invite_trackbot.2C_Zakim_and_RRSAgent I does not include Arnaud's tip, below, for requesting an ad-hoc telecon number. I tried to edit the page above, but it appears to be limited to members of the Protocol and Formats group. -- Ann From: Arnaud Le Hors [mailto:lehors@us.ibm.com] Sent: Tuesday, November 04, 2014 9:54 AM To: Bassetti, Ann Cc: Amy van der Hiel; Lloyd Fassett; public-social-interest@w3.org Subject: RE: Monday, 10am PST, IG Use Case call coordinates Hi, Catching up on my email, I ran into this thread and wanted to share a couple of things: 1. As you've seen, unless the bridge is reserved for a specific date and time the code won't work. 2. If needed you can get a code from Zakim on the fly by simply issuing a command on IRC such as: Zakim, room for 5 for 60 minutes? Don't forget the question mark, Zakim is picky. Zakim will then respond with a code that can be used to call in. If Zakim is not on the channel, just invite it! Hope this helps. -- Arnaud Le Hors - Senior Technical Staff Member, Open Web Standards - IBM Software Group "Bassetti, Ann" <ann.bassetti@boeing.com<mailto:ann.bassetti@boeing.com>> wrote on 10/20/2014 11:31:20 AM: > From: "Bassetti, Ann" <ann.bassetti@boeing.com<mailto:ann.bassetti@boeing.com>> > To: Lloyd Fassett <lloyd@azteria.com<mailto:lloyd@azteria.com>>, "public-social- > interest@w3.org<mailto:interest@w3.org>" <public-social-interest@w3.org<mailto:public-social-interest@w3.org>> > Cc: Amy van der Hiel <amy@w3.org<mailto:amy@w3.org>> > Date: 10/20/2014 11:32 AM > Subject: RE: Monday, 10am PST, IG Use Case call coordinates > > Hi All – > > Not sure where anyone else was, but elf Pavlik, Adam Boyet and I had > a good conversation.
