RE: Monday, 10am PST, IG Use Case call coordinates

Thanks so much Arnaud! After all these years, I'm embarrassed by how little I still know.

Someone sent me these notes on how to set up and run a meeting with W3C tools, which includes Zakim (telecon), RRSagent (records IRC discussion), Scribe (generates formatted minutes) and Tracker (tracks issues and actions): http://www.w3.org/WAI/PF/wiki/Teleconference_cheat_sheet#Step_1:_Invite_trackbot.2C_Zakim_and_RRSAgent

I does not include Arnaud's tip, below, for requesting an ad-hoc telecon number. I tried to edit the page above, but it appears to be limited to members of the Protocol and Formats group.

Hi,
Catching up on my email, I ran into this thread and wanted to share a couple of things:

1. As you've seen, unless the bridge is reserved for a specific date and time the code won't work.
2. If needed you can get a code from Zakim on the fly by simply issuing a command on IRC such as: Zakim, room for 5 for 60 minutes?
Don't forget the question mark, Zakim is picky. Zakim will then respond with a code that can be used to call in.
If Zakim is not on the channel, just invite it!

Hope this helps.
