FYI, In case anyone is interested, I imagine we could move our current CVS-based efforts at spec development over to Mercurial. I don't feel a strong need to move, since our active spec editing work is almost done, but I thought I should mention it in case it matters to others. -Eric. -------- Original Message -------- Subject: DVCS platform at W3C Resent-Date: Thu, 29 Apr 2010 14:24:04 +0000 Resent-From: chairs@w3.org Date: Thu, 29 Apr 2010 10:23:55 -0400 From: Alexandre Bertails <bertails@w3.org> To: chairs@w3.org, w3c-tools@w3.org W3C is pleased to announce the availability of its new Distributed Version Control System, based on Mercurial [1]. If one wants to request a new repository, just send an email to sysreq@w3.org with the following informations: * a name for the repository. You can find some examples on [2] * a contact for this repository * the groups that are allowed to push changes to this repository Note all resources in Mercurial will be World readable.
