== Summary == Next week in AG: * CSUN Face to Face meeting attendance Survey: https://www.w3.org/2002/09/wbs/35422/CSUN-Face-To-Face/ <https://www.w3.org/2002/09/wbs/35422/CSUN-Face-To-Face/> * Guideline Grouping Survey: https://www.w3.org/2002/09/wbs/35422/guideline-org/ <https://www.w3.org/2002/09/wbs/35422/guideline-org/> * Discussion about Requiring vs. Encouraging We discussed feedback from the COGA Clear Language subgroup on the Writing Process. We did a deep dive into the goals for the Process for Writing Guidelines using Maturity Levels <https://docs.google.com/document/d/1zW-UubALQOCokCoLnIuQrnGNKLm2uHi36S8yhAojrIE/> and have tentatively agreed to change the fourth goal to "Define guidance and methods that are clear and understandable. The methods make it easier to implement and meet the guidelines." We worked on the Error Guideline Exploratory Content <https://docs.google.com/document/d/1jtZaUzLi-jgmGdAypRUeJPzVz_ZUpMO0wdOrORiuO7w/> drawing heavily from the work that was done by the Errors subgroup in 2021. We discussed the level of detail that the Errors subgroup did and realized that it was not necessary for every guideline, but is an excellent example of how we can approach guidelines that have no research, because in essence, the Errors group did the research needed. We updated the Process for Writing Guidelines using Maturity Levels <https://docs.google.com/document/d/1zW-UubALQOCokCoLnIuQrnGNKLm2uHi36S8yhAojrIE/> to reflect that change. It needs more editorial work to make it easier to understand, but that will be done asynchronously. We accepted the work on User Needs and will start working on Tests next week. == Minutes == https://www.w3.org/2023/02/24-silver-minutes.html
