The group discussed scope of the work and the white paper (https://www.w3.org/2020/11/19-silver-xr-minutes.html ) that will help us define next steps.
* Scope
* The XR work for Silver is limited to the Web, based on charter discussions.
* The group decided not to list sensory modalities to be addressed as part of the scope statement, as this is an area that is changing and expanding - for example temperature could be an output. So all sensory output types are in scope.
* Next Steps
* The group discussed using review of existing example XR applications and review of existing Success Criteria as next steps, and will likely start with review of existing WCAG 2.1/2.2 Success Criteria.
* However, other supplemental information is listed in the white paper, which can be used as alternate ways to bolster/confirm the work and highlight when additional input or collaboration should be sought
* The next meeting will be Dec 3 (skipping one week for US Holidays) and part of the agenda for Dec 3 will be prioritizing completing work on the XR Captioning Outcomes that have not yet made it into the first draft of WCAG 3.0.
