Status of the Call for Consensus of the WCAG 3.0 First Public Working Draft

Apologies to those of you who receive this message multiple times, I sent the first round to an incorrect list.

 

The purpose of this email is to update members of Silver and the Accessibility Guidelines Working Group on the status of the Call for Consensus (CFC) of the WCAG 3.0 First Public Working Draft (FPWD).

 

The chairs are considering the objections that have been raised and are reviewing their potential impact on the decision and the impact to the timeline for approving and publishing the FPWD.  The availability of chairs will factor into the time required to consider the objections.  The chairs acknowledge that publishing the document before the US Thanksgiving holiday is unlikely.
