== Summary == * There is a survey for the decision on Scope. It is open until Friday. https://www.w3.org/2002/09/wbs/94845/2020-06_Conformance_Scope/ * Maturity model subgroup had its first meeting. They discussed how the maturity model approach could solve some of the dissension around scoring. They discussed different types of models. The next step is to define goals. * XR group is looking for feedback on the draft of the user needs statement. <https://w3c.github.io/silver/subgroups/xr/captioning/xr-captioning-user-needs.html> Please send feedback to Mike Crabb or file a github issue. There is aXR Access Symposium <http://xraccess.org/symposium/> on July 20 & 21 that is free. There is a breakout session specifically on XR Captioning. * Functional Needs is working on their draft. They have added looking at intersectional needs between accessibility and race. * There is a new proposal for sampling. "Sampling is a method of achieving conformance, but it is not included in conformance. This is consistent with the way WCAG2 addresses sampling." The work that the Conformance subgroup did in 2019-early 2020 could be included in a separate document. We took a straw poll with broad agreement. There was a request to add language on transparency, which we will discuss on Friday. * The AGWG chairs and Jeanne & Shawn are discussing adopting a formal decision policy to expedite decision-making and reduce churn of re-raising decisions already made. More to come. == Minutes == https://www.w3.org/2020/07/07-silver-minutes.html
