WCAG 2.1 Candidate Recommendation

I am sure everyone is aware that 2.1 was published as a Candidate Recommendation today.
If you have not yet read this section, please do so – it will inform how we talk about Silver in the presentation portion of the Design Sprint:

Introduction 0.6 Later versions of Accessibility Guidelines
https://www.w3.org/TR/WCAG21/#later-versions-of-accessibility-guidelines

Specific considerations to note:

1. Items marked as “at risk” in the candidate recommendation that do not make it into the final recommendation should be explicitly captured somehow as issues to resolve in Silver.

2. “…the Working Group could also decide that another set of guidelines between WCAG 2.1 and 3.0 is needed”

3. The Silver problem statement for maintenance > governance implies an irregular pattern and long duration between versions, yet is now addressed by the statement “The Working Group intends to produce updated guidance for accessibility on a regular interval, starting with WCAG 2.1”

a. We should revise the problem statement accordingly
