Late regrets for today's call

Hi all

I won’t be able to attend today’s call, sorry for the short notice. But here are a couple of things to report on actions from last week’s meeting:

1. Translations

We made good progress with resolving WCAG Usability survey translations, and it looks more likely that we can launch at least the French, Korean (thank you Jemma!) and Spanish versions next week, subject to final minor edits. We still have some further edits to the PO files for Portuguese (Br) and Japanese to address larger translation issues.

2. WCAG Usability Survey review

I spent some time doing some initial analysis of data from the English version of this survey, . I’ve made a folder in the Surveys folder in our Google Drive space, which includes raw data and some summary documents I made.

These summaries include:
* Free text comments on the usability of each SC. To ease analysis, I collated comments for each SC, and grouped SC comments into 4 documents, one for each WCAG Principle. They could use some further formatting, but will hopefully be useful as a starter.
* Ranking of SCs. I ranked data for each SC for each of the three measures of usability we asked about (learnability, memorability, teachability), and also ranked SCs by mean ranking. This gives a crude indication of overall usability of each SC.

Data is available for checking and error correction as needed :)

Further future analysis could include comparisons between responses of respondents based on job or training or other attribute.

Any questions, let me know.

Dave
