I think I've been asked to publish the Explainer to FPWD alongside the updated WD of the Guidelines. Some of the content in the guidelines and draft announcements imply that expectation as well. However, we don't have a WG decision to publish a FPWD. The CfC I can find <https://lists.w3.org/Archives/Public/w3c-wai-gl/2021JulSep/0171.html> only approves content for the editors' draft. The CfC to publish a WCAG 3.0 update <https://lists.w3.org/Archives/Public/w3c-wai-gl/2021OctDec/0055.html> references the explainer, but does not request permission for FPWD. I will need the WG decision to publish as FPWD in order to send the transition request. Sorry I only picked this up now. I'll be off next week but have been doing prep to be able to publish the following week. Is it preferred that I publish WCAG 3.0 asap and the explainer after we have a CfC, or wait to publish them together? Michael
