I forgot to cross-post the 2.1 release announcement on our mailing list

Many congratulations to the whole group for achieving this big milestone in
such a short period of time.
Eric was a big driving force (kudos) but it required a lot of coordination
and effort from everyone

So, congratulation again and we can now start planning for 2.2 ;)
