edmondchuc has just created a new issue for https://github.com/w3c/data-shapes: == Support for a List of Common and Advanced Patterns == In SHACL, there are sometimes multiple ways to achieve the same thing. In user-interface scenarios, it might be difficult for implementors to support every variation. A list of patterns might steer the user to follow the accepted patterns that are widely supported by user-interface engines. The patterns also serve as a quick reference guide for end-users. Discussion: - What qualifies as common vs advanced? - Are patterns normative or informative? - Should this be in the spec document or as a separate note with a life of its own?
