Dear members of the community group, Over the last year, some of you have expressed your interest in restarting our meetings and continuing our work. Working on a common document has been a good motivation for cooperation in the past: we managed to get many participants in the joint publication <https://www.gsi.upm.es/administrator/components/com_jresearch/files/publications/lrec206.pdf> we presented at the Emotion and Sentiment Analysis Workshop <https://www.gsi.upm.es/esa2016/>. On the other hand, I believe we should start discussing details about our use of linked data in sentiment and emotion analysis. With these two ideas in mind, I've put together a document called "Guidelines for developing Linked Data Emotion and Sentiment Analysis services <https://www.gsi.upm.es/otros/ldmesa/>". The intent is to gather your contributions and to eventually publish it as a report in the community's website. It is also an excuse to resume our collaboration. Please, *fill out this poll by the end of Tuesday to select the date of our next meeting: *https://doodle.com/poll/fgein8khceachnrd I understand this is a little rushed. We will have another meeting before summer break, hopefully including our progress with this document. The tentative agenda for the meeting is: * Introduction of new participants (5') * State of affairs (10') * Guidelines draft (20'): o Presentation and intent o Discussion o Distribution of tasks * Other proposals for collaboration, such as other documents and publications (5') * Scheduling and ideas for the next meeting (5') * Any other business In the meantime, all contributions to the document are welcome! I have created a new GitHub organization <https://github.com/ldmesa/> to host our drafts. If you want to join the organization, just send me an email. Best regards, Fernando
