Emotion and Sentiment Analysis workshop LREC 2016

Dear all,

After this long hiatus, I am very pleased to inform you that the proposal
for the workshop "Emotion and Sentiment Analysis" at LREC 2016 has been
accepted. *The workshop will be held Monday, 23 May 2016 in Portorož
(Slovenia)*. This will be the sixth edition of "Corpora for Research on
Emotion", one of most important events on resources and applications of
emotion and sentiment. The previous edition took place in 2014 under the
title “EMOTION, SOCIAL SIGNALS, SENTIMENT & LINKED OPEN DATA (ES3LOD)” [1].

This is obviously a great opportunity to spread the work of the community
group, and to promote the use of Linked Data models in our field. We are
still looking for experienced researchers to serve on the Programme
Committee. Do not hesitate to contact me if you are interested.

In the upcoming days we will send more information, along with the call for
papers. As you can imagine, the topics will be very relevant to anyone in
this group, so stay tuned. It would also be a good opportunity to wrap up
the shared publication we have in the works.
