The Aug 21 deadline for publishing proposed FHIR R5 changes in time for September balloting is fast approaching, so we need to finalize decisions on what we want to include. We're scheduled to meet with the HL7 ITS committee at 3pm (Boston time) on Aug 17 for committee voting, so that's really our effective deadline. To make the most efficient use of our next teleconference tomorrow, I'd like all participants to please consider in advance the options described in issue #102 (Properties with both scalar and object range), since the resolution of that issue seems to tie in with multiple other issues: https://github.com/w3c/hcls-fhir-rdf/issues/102 Please read the proposed options in that issue thread, be prepared to state your preferences on our teleconference tomorrow, and add to that issue thread if you have other ideas that you think would help us reach resolution. FYI, here is the overall process for inclusion in the upcoming FHIR R5 ballot: - The FHIR RDF subgroup decides on the changes we want to make. - We file FHIR Jira issues documenting the proposed changes. - On Aug 17 the HL7 ITS committee votes on those Jira issues (because we are a subgroup of ITS). - We make the committee-approved changes in the FHIR github repo for the FHIR specification. - On Aug 21 FHIR publication is frozen for the Sept balloting by the broader FHIR community. - Sometime in October balloting closes and votes are counted.
