MCBK 2021 will be an online interactive 2-day conference, featuring
renowned speakers addressing the potential of computable knowledge. The
program includes interactive virtual project and technical poster expo
booths, online interactive workgroup sessions, and networking opportunities
with colleagues who are advancing the MCBK movement.

The COVID-19 pandemic has emphasized the significance of making computable
biomedical knowledge more broadly available in support of healthcare
delivery, biomedical research, public health and education.

Conference Details



*Keynote Speakers*
Renowned computer scientist and Professor at the Rensselaer Polytechnic
Institute, *Deborah McGuinness* will deliver the keynote address on Day 1.


Well-known Director of the Board on Research Data and Information at the
National Academies of Sciences, Engineering, and Medicine, *George Strawn* will
headline the  presentations on Day 2.

*Day 1 sessions* on July 20, will begin at 10:30 am U.S. Eastern Daylight
Time (UTC-4).

*The registration fee for this two day virtual meeting is $50.*  The
fee can be waived for full time students and those financially challenged
by the current pandemic.

The program includes plenary presentations, panel discussions, workgroup
action sessions, and interactive poster sessions.

Registration for the MCBK virtual meeting is being managed through the
University of Michigan Office of Continuing Medical Education. CME credit
through the University of Michigan is available.
*This event is designed for biomedical informaticians, librarians,
researchers, policy makers, clinicians, public health professionals and all
others interested in revolutionizing access to knowledge to improve the
health of individuals and populations.*
