HL7/W3C - FHIR/RDF teleconferences resuming! - 11am (Boston) Thursday July 15

I am pleased to announce that work on the FHIR/RDF standard will be
resuming next week, with a kick-off teleconference on July 15!

FHIR/RDF is an official RDF (Turtle) serialization of FHIR that allows
FHIR data to be used with other RDF data. This standardization work is
a joint collaboration between W3C and HL7. Work had been interrupted
during the pandemic as focus temporarily shifted to COVID-19 research.

Two main areas we hope to address in the next version:

  - Improving ease of use.

  - Leveraging JSON-LD 1.1 to simplify conversion to/from FHIR/RDF.

In addition, please also bring any ideas or suggestions that you have
for improving this work. Anyone interested in this work is invited to
attend.

Teleconference details will be announced shortly.

Thanks!
David Booth
