Survey on ontology reuse practices

Dear Colleague,

I am Reham Alharbi, a PhD student at the University of Liverpool, under the supervision of Valentina Tamma and Floriana Grasso. As part of our investigation into practical measures to assess the reusability of ontologies we have prepared a questionnaire to elicit the practice of reusing ontologies within the community. As you are an established practitioner within the field of ontology engineering we would very much like to gain your insight and therefore invite you, and anybody in your group, to fill in the questionnaire. We are exploring a ground up approach in determining how practitioners decide whether to reuse an ontology and how.

The questionnaire will take about 30 minutes to complete, however you are free to opt out at any point whilst answering the questionnaire. Your responses are completely anonymous and we would ask you not to write anything that could identify you..

The questionnaire received ethical approval from the University of Liverpool, who will act as data controller for all the data collected through this questionnaire.

If you choose to participate please follow the link below:

The initial page contains detailed information about how the data will be handled.

Thank you for your consideration.

Best regards,

Reham
