*Assistant or Associate or Full Professor Faculty Positions* *Division of Health Informatics* *Department of Healthcare Policy & Research* *Weill Cornell Medicine, Cornell University* *New York City, New York* http://hpr.weill.cornell.edu/divisions/health_informatics/ The Division of Health Informatics in the Department of Healthcare Policy & Research at Weill Cornell Medicine is inviting applications for 2-3 faculty positions at the Assistant, Associate, and full Professor levels. These are tenure-track or tenured positions with rank and salary commensurate with qualifications. Specific areas of research and development interests for the positions include, but are not limited to: (1) Big data integration and systems design (2) Data privacy and security (3) Clinical decision support and precision medicine implementation (4) Public health information systems and disease surveillance The successful applicant will have a Ph.D., M.D./Ph.D., or equivalent in health informatics, biomedical informatics, computer science, information science, or a related field. Applicant will have a record of significant research accomplishments, including developing and sustaining extramural funding, and will demonstrate a strong ability to mentor students, post-doctoral researchers, and junior faculty. The successful candidate will also have experience in curriculum development, teaching, and scholarship activities in biomedical and health informatics. The candidate should have strong communication skills, an established record of interdisciplinary work, and be ready to foster collaborative opportunities in research, education, service, and innovation with our partner organizations, including the Weill Cornell Physician Organization, NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital, and “Silicon Island”, the recently started Cornell Tech campus in New York City.
