--Apologies for cross-posting-- This is the second call for systems for the 2016 edition of the Ontology Alignment Evaluation Initiative (OAEI): http://oaei.ontologymatching.org/2016/ Since 2004, OAEI has been supporting the extensive and rigorous evaluation of ontology matching and instance matching techniques. This year we will have two new tracks (Disease and Phenotype, and Process Model Matching) and new datasets with respect to some of the last year tracks. NEWS ------------------ Authors of (1) the best biomedical-themed papers, (2) system papers with competitive results in the OAEI biomedical-themed tracks, and (3) biomedical-themed dataset descriptions will be invited to submit an extended version of their contributions to be considered in a special issue of the Journal of Biomedical Semantics (JBMS): http://jbiomedsem.biomedcentral.com/. The Pistoia Alliance Ontologies Mapping project ( http://www.pistoiaalliance.org/projects/ontologies-mapping/) team will organise the Disease and Phenotype track and will sponsor a prize of $7,500 for the winner of this track. CONFIRMED TRACKS ------------------ Benchmark Anatomy Conference Multifarm Interactive Matching (New datasets) Large Biomedical Ontologies Disease and Phenotype (New track) Process Model Matching (New track) Instance Matching (New datasets) IMPORTANT DATES ------------------ Note that this year the submission of systems is one month earlier: July 31st June 1st: (preliminary) datasets available. June 30th: datasets are frozen. June 30th: participants register their tool (i.e. interest in participating): https://docs.google.com/forms/d/1Ne1w0J6iwRbXPo6Sxr1hb2qu45HLWN6QM4tLUqfYE84/viewform July 31st: participants submit final versions of their tools (details will be sent after registration). August 31st: evaluation is executed and results are analyzed. September 30th: preliminary version of system papers due October 17th or 18th: Ontology matching workshop. November 15th: final version of system papers due. -- Ernesto Jiménez-Ruiz Research Assistant Department of Computer Science University of Oxford Wolfson Building, Parks Road, Oxford OX1 3QD, UK http://krono.act.uji.es/people/Ernesto http://www.cs.ox.ac.uk/people/ernesto.jimenez-ruiz/
