Hi Renato, we haven't discussed this yet on any calls but I suspect that showing how the standard could be used within FHIR would be very useful and we could add this as a goal Are you interested in helping with that? If so, I would encourage you to join our calls because we will be starting to build artifacts soon and would benefit from the insight of folks who know FHIR well. best, -R On 07/31/2016 09:40 PM, Renato Iannella wrote: > >> On 29 Jul 2016, at 20:00, Richard Boyce <rdb20@pitt.edu >> <mailto:rdb20@pitt.edu>> wrote: >> >> * >> Knowledge Representation Core >> Considerations:https://goo.gl/jhwj9e >> <https://na01.safelinks.protection.outlook.com/?url=https%3a%2f%2fgoo.gl%2fjhwj9e&data=01%7c01%7crdb20%40pitt.edu%7c1c14a164a822482dfb1a08d3b9ad6380%7c9ef9f489e0a04eeb87cc3a526112fd0d%7c1&sdata=gSVorr0zpIWhenw30j23OmYeYW0U1ddmAn9TZXi%2fKEw%3d> >> > > This is good to see the use of other ontologies as the foundation for > this work (eg BFO etc). > > My question is, what is the intended relationship (if any) to the FHIR > Ontology? > > > Cheers... > Renato Iannella > Founder & Principal Architect, Semantic Identity > +61 4 1313 2206 @riannella http://semanticidentity.com > <https://na01.safelinks.protection.outlook.com/?url=http%3a%2f%2fsemanticidentity.com&data=01%7c01%7crdb20%40pitt.edu%7c1c14a164a822482dfb1a08d3b9ad6380%7c9ef9f489e0a04eeb87cc3a526112fd0d%7c1&sdata=GQJOLU8PJxFKMBbmXEXOTR%2bEPpWjJHLFRgjhXQClMHo%3d> > > -- Richard D Boyce, PhD Assistant Professor of Biomedical Informatics Faculty, Center for Pharmaceutical Policy and Prescribing Faculty, Geriatric Pharmaceutical Outcomes and Gero-Informatics Research and Training Program University of Pittsburgh rdb20@pitt.edu Office: 412-648-9219 Twitter: @bhaapgh
