FYI, as discussed on today's teleconference, below is a description of what Ken Lord would like to present at the RDF subgroup meeting in Montreal in May. On today's call we discussed the possibility of allocating some time to this and also potentially getting Ken's perspective on why the FHIR group chose to invent a FHIR-specific language. -------- Forwarded Message -------- Subject: Request for time slot in the FHIR RDF working group Date: Tue, 5 Apr 2016 14:12:29 -0400 From: Ken Lord <klordmdmi@gmail.com> To: David Booth <david@dbooth.org> CC: sean.muir@jkmsoftware.com David, Sorry for the delay. Does this work? If not, please feel free to edit. The MDMI Project team would like to present a high level overview of our Semantic Metadata content work. The goals of this work are to provide open source Semantic Metadata that mapping users can query to find the correct term in the MDMI Referent Index and to provide Semantic Metadata for developers are using semantic web and inferencing technologies for their applications and may be able to leverage MDMI. As part of this work, we would like to make sure we understand, support, and collaborate with developers who are leveraging RDF tools and technologies for FHIR applications. Ken Lord
