The Division of Health Informatics in the Department of Healthcare Policy &
Research at Weill Cornell Medical College is inviting applications for *4-5
faculty positions* at the assistant, associate, and full professor level.
These are tenure-track or tenured positions with rank and salary
commensurate with qualifications. Specific areas of research and
development interests for the positions include, but are not limited to:



(1) Biomedical ontologies and knowledge engineering

(2) Clinical decision support and genomic medicine implementation

(3) Natural language processing and information retrieval

(4) Healthcare analytics and computational modeling

(5) Big data integration and systems design

(6) Human factors engineering and implementation science



The successful applicant will have a Ph.D., M.D./Ph.D., or equivalent in
health informatics, biomedical informatics, computer science, information
science, or a related field. Applicant will have a record of significant
research accomplishments, including developing and sustaining extramural
funding, and will demonstrate a strong ability to mentor students,
post-doctoral researchers, and junior faculty. The successful candidate
will also have experience in curriculum development, teaching, and
scholarship activities in biomedical and health informatics. The candidate
should have strong communication skills, an established record of
interdisciplinary work, and be ready to foster collaborative opportunities
in research, education, service, and innovation with our partner
organizations, including the Weill Cornell Physician Organization,
NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital, and “Silicon Island,” the recently started
Cornell Tech campus in New York City. Weill Cornell Medicine is the fastest
