Fwd: Updated Invitation: Linked Life Data: dataset description @ Tue 2013-04-23 11:00 - 12:00 (HCLS)

Below is the re-forwarded invitation/reminder for this week's meeting about
dataset descriptions. Michel will still send fuzebox details.

4 unexpected things happened when I sent out this reminder from the HCLS
calendar, apparently due to "features" of Google calendar. The features
seem to be related to inviting a W3C mailinglist and a Google Group:

1) It doesn't include the text that I pasted into the top: "<fuzebox
invitation to be sent by Michel>". Beware of <>'s around text in Gcal! It
is apparently saved for commenting or markup.
2) It doesn't seem to have sent the reminder to HCLS (!) - only to
dbcatalog,
3) The invitation seems to now have been automatically expanded to each
dbcatalog participant
4) When I click on more details in the updated invitation, it refuses to
show the details to me (surprising! bug? my e-mail is the manager of
dbcatalog)

To avoid clashing with OpenPHACTS meeting, we've moved our meeting to
Tuesday at the same time (5PM CET / 4PM BST). Now that we're fairly
aligned, we will be looking for a scribe for this session.

Just added the dbcatalog group, a group that we started at the Biohackathon
2011 in Kyoto where initial dataset description discussions began.
Apparently, adding that group to the series only sent mail about a weekly
meeting on Mondays - not this meeting on *Tuesday*.

Note: There have been various small problems with fuzebox so I recommend
that you join ahead of time if you aren't sure about fuzebox working
properly. On Monday, I discovered that you will get *no message* if there
is no Internet - it will simply do nothing when you start the local fuzebox
client.
