Hi everyone, The 3rd annual CSHALS (Conference on Semantics in Healthcare and Life Sciences) is coming up on Feb. 24 - 26 in Cambridge, MA. The past two years, the conference has seen an intriguing line-up of speakers reporting on a wide range of activities related to semantics and Semantic Web in HCLS. The conference is always host to a wealth of experience, intelligence, and opinions, and one of the highlights each year is the engaging and productive conference-wide discussions that accompany all of the sessions. This year, the agenda features keynote talks by Jim Hendler (RPI), Martin Leach (Merck), and Lynn Vogel (M.D. Anderson Cancer Center), and the rest of the program is equally strong: http://www.iscb.org/cshals2010-program For the third straight year, the conference will also feature a half-day tutorial presenting an introduction to Semantic Web technologies and a look at all the activities underway in the HCLS IG. I'd encourage everyone to consider attending; you can register for the conference at: http://www.iscb.org/cshals2010-registration I'd also ask that you distribute this flyer to your colleagues and in any other circles that you think might benefit from exposure to CSHALS: http://www.iscb.org/cms_addon/conferences/cshals2010/cshals2010-flyer.pdf best, Lee
