On October 13 we will have a workshop day at Bryn Mawr College to discuss a variety of industry user experiences, issues and needs in knowledge managment in R&D using a knowledge cafe format. The discussions will be seeded by perspectives from Chris Culberson (Merck Research Laboratories), Ralph T. Mosley (Pharmasset), Tim McIntyre (GlaxoSmithKline), Frank Brown (Accelrys), Chris Smith (Pfizer), John Conway (Accelrys), Frank Hollinger (Sphaera Pharma) and I. Topics will include data-mining, small and big pharma requirements, workflow applications, ADME/tox decision making, risk assessment, ontologies and virtual organisation-based collaboration.
