I have created a proposal for a demo-scenario based on bio-zen and Chimezie's Problem Oriented Medical Record Ontology. It is just a first draft, I will try to integrate existing proposals for demo-scenarios. The scenario demonstrates almost every aspect of Semantic Web technology the HCLSIG community has been dealing with so far: basic research, clinical records, bench-to-bedside transition, integration of external vocabularies and taxonomies, ontology-based resource resolution and management of digital resources, foundational ontologies and metadata standards, information ecosystem / publishing / hypothesis formulation, copyright management and integration into web applications (e.g. Semantic Wikis). See http://neuroscientific.net/res/semsyn/bio-zen-demo/bio-zen-demo.htm "This document describes a scenario for the demonstration of the bio-zen / POMR Semantic Web infrastructure for biomedical research and translational medicine. This demonstration will show how Semantic Web technologies can be practically employed in basic research and clinical studies dealing with neurodegenerative diseases, especially Alzheimer’s and Parkinson’s disease. The demonstration stands in the tradition of the popular Web 2.0 ‘mashups’, where existing resources are recombined and integrated in an innovative and productive way. bio-zen incorporates several other popular Semantic Web ontologies." -- Matthias Samwald --- -- Der GMX SmartSurfer hilft bis zu 70% Ihrer Onlinekosten zu sparen!
