My sincere apologies for the previous  incorrect email heading. Upon
re-reading, I see the NIH Wiki  fair is on Wednesday February 28. That
is what happens when one writes emails in the middle of the night!  The
days become a continuum.....

Dear colleagues,

 

Please join for the videocast of the NIH Wiki Fair on Wednesday February
28, 2007, 8:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. (Note: although registration for
in-person attendance is closed, we welcome videocast participation.)

 

The purpose of the NIH Wiki Fair is to educate the NIH community on the
capabilities and limitations of Wiki technology; to provide case studies
and demonstrations of Wikis in use at NIH and elsewhere in the private
and publics sectors.

 

Highlights include

1.	Keynote speakers: 

	a.	Dr. Calvin Andrus, Ph.D., Chief Technology Officer,
Center for Mission Innovation, CIA 
	b.	Dr. Larry Sanger, Ph.D., Editor-in-Chief of the
Citizendium Project, and co-founder of Wikipedia 
	c.	Dr. Barend Mons, Wiki for Professionals project lead,
Associate Professor at Leiden University Medical Center, and at Erasmus
Medical Center 

2.	Case study presentations of wikis at NIH, The National
Geographic Society, caGrid and General Services Administration. 
3.	Demonstrations of wikis on various wiki engines. 
4.	Panel discussion: "Wikis: The Good, The Bad, and the Ugly".
