Vipul and all
To add to the "bed" side of the demo, I have added some PD disease
management guidelines to the use case [1]. These guidelines present
evidence generated from clinical trials and make recommendations ranging
from diagnostic methods, medication to patient monitoring and care plan.
They seem to be a suitable body of knowledge to be used for the bench->
bedside demo.
I also depicted a diagram to show "cluster" of knowledge (ontology)
relevant to the clinical care of patient (bed side).
To generate the needed knowledge bases for this demo, we can either
develop rdf/owl/rules strictly based on the information presented
in these guidelines
or
try to find cluster of knowledge in existing ontologies
such as those found in OBO, BIRN, etc.
Either way requires some hard hands-on work.
We also need to sketch a "virtual patient" with a given set of conditions,
so that the ontology and rules derived for bench-bedside demo can be
tested.
Please have a look to see if I am on the right track before I start to
write triples. By the way, is anyone working on generating triples from
the use case detailed on the wiki page "Parkinson's Disease Information
Aggregation Use Case" [1].
