Happy New Year! I'm posting this nice use-case Marja-Riitta has done using the Annotea web-annotation tool: http://www.w3.org/2003/12/cmlcase/cml.html The generated RDF annotations can be found at: http://www.w3.org/2003/12/cml.rdf This example looks into how researchers would use an RDF-based annotation system to capture and aggregate relevant facts regarding chronic myelogenous leukemia (CML) and its surrounding genomics (e.g., Omim, LocusLink , KEGG, BioCarta). The facts are specified in RDF as Amaya bookmarks according to specific semantic themes using Dublin Core (dc) tags. This document could easily be expanded with additional RDF defined facts, including the incorporation of additional disease specific ontologies if so desired. In practice, the RDF generated would potentially become the basis of scientific exchange and collaboration and a theme such as CML, whose content is very much machine readable. I hope for us to use this example as the basis adding increasing richness to this use-case topic, from a diverse set of sources. I also hope the other examples a few of you offered will be posted here as well soon... Best, Eric
