Oops, I missed this issue. @mounirlamouri, thank you for pinging. Defining a WebDriver extension API is a more standardized way and which has already been adopted in [Generic Sensor](https://w3c.github.io/sensors/#automation), [Permissions API](https://w3c.github.io/permissions/#automation), [Reporting API](https://w3c.github.io/reporting/#automation), etc..
