Please review the latest proposed WG charter by Oct 22 2019 and provide feedback either via GH issues or as a reply to this mail. If we hear no concerns, you should expect this proposal to advance to AC review.

Summary of changes from the current WG charter 2018-2019:

• Replaced the term "screen" by "presentation display" for consistency with the APIs
• Put presentation of parts of an HTML document in scope of the Working Group
• Put the standardization of a protocol suite for the APIs in scope of the Working Group
• Added the Open Screen Protocol deliverable accordingly
• Listed relevant IETF group for the Open Screen Protocol in the liaisons section
• A few editorial updates

No concerns were raised during your review of the proposed Second Screen WG charter 2020-2021.

Given positive feedback received, we'll explore a path to incorporate the Open Screen Protocol into the WG's next charter scope.

An updated proposed WG charter will be circulated with the WG and CG for feedback before the charter is dispatched for its formal Advisory Committee review toward the end of October.

The current Second Screen WG Charter ends 31 December 2019. As discussed at F2F [1], the WG has shown interest to recharter to finish its currently chartered work and to add in scope new features to align the Presentation API and Remote Playback API with the Open Screen Protocol. These new features are proposed to be incubated in the Second Screen Community group before advancement to the Working Group.

Below are the resources to facilitate review, please provide your feedback by 7 Oct 2019:
