PR #235 (based on PR #234 by @tidoust) should fix most of the significant problems noted above. There are two other fixes noted yet to do: - Clarify when we are firing a simple event, versus an event defined in the spec. - Break the close algorithm into two, so we can refer to part of it separately when a page with a connection is navigated.
