I concur with @PeterParslow 's assessment about the state of things. I would add that these projects were often run by champions with a finite tenure and there is often a dichotomy between the published best practice and the sometimes _ad-hoc_ nature of core business operations. If the examples are no longer maintained, it best to remove them from BP since they evidently gained no traction with the host institution. However, I do think this work is still valuable.
