Dear SDWIG-ers, At the OGC meeting next week, I'm organizing a GeoSemantics DWG session that might be of interest to some of you. The session is open to non-OGC-members. If you want to attend, let me know and I can send the joining details. Linda Van: Linda van den Brink Verzonden: donderdag 10 juni 2021 08:52 Aan: tc-announce@lists.opengeospatial.org; GeoSemWeb@lists.opengeospatial.org Onderwerp: GeoSemantics DWG session at TC meeting Dear all, We have a GeoSemantics DWG session scheduled at the next OGC TC meeting on Wednesday, June 16th at 4:30 PM US Eastern. I invited Pieter Colpaert to tell us something about his idea for streaming Linked Data, which can be done temporally but also spatially. It's a very fascinating idea, which is already being applied in the publication of Dutch and Flamish national datasets. Also, I thought it'd be cool to have a demonstration of Timo's SPARQL Plugin for QGIS. Imagine you can get linked data INTO your GIS system, and use it in your analysis. I believe there's a similar plugin for ArcGIS - if someone could demonstrate that, let me know. Then, we will have an update of the GeoSPARQL SWG who have been working hard on version 1.1 of GeoSPARQL. Agenda (summary): - Pieter Colpaert (Ghent University): Linked Data Event Streams - Timo Homburg (i3mainz - Institute for Spatial Information & Surveying Technology): Demonstration: SPARQL Plugin for QGIS - Joseph Abhayaratna (PSMA Australia): GeoSPARQL SWG Update Joining details: 1. Please join my meeting, Wed Jun 16th 4:30 PM EDT. https://www4.gotomeeting.com/join/150322365 2. Use your microphone and speakers (VoIP) - a headset is recommended. Or, call in using your telephone.
