EmilyDaemen has just created a new issue for https://github.com/w3c/sdw: == [Responsible use] Feedback from "Regulator breakout" AAG event == • What about regulators ensuring that disclosure is selective – i.e., high exposure requires anonymity. • Need to ensure that developers disclose their privacy protecting practices. • Need to monitor the communication chain, to see whether messages become targeted/dangerous, etc., using sentiment analysis. This will enable platform providers to understand whether interventions are necessary. • Regulation varies heavily globally, from the EU where there lots of consistent protections, to the US where protections vary from high in CA to low elsewhere. • What about Regulating doxxers! Should regulators be made moderators in social media platforms? Please view or discuss this issue at https://github.com/w3c/sdw/issues/1274 using your GitHub account -- Sent via github-notify-ml as configured in https://github.com/w3c/github-notify-ml-config
