Linda, Joseph Please add me as a Charter Member to the proposed GeoSpaRQL (S or D) WG. I do not wish to be considered for Chair or Co-Chair. But I will read documents! Hopefully, OGC members will vote for the reactivated GeoSPARQL working group to operate in an open fashion so that non-members can contribute. In any case, it will be possible for SDWIG members to attend this first meeting. Meeting details can be found on the OGC portal or, for non-OGC members, by asking me or Joseph Abhayaratna for the meeting details. Linda -----Oorspronkelijk bericht----- Van: Linda van den Brink Verzonden: maandag 7 september 2020 13:27 Aan: tc-announce@lists.opengeospatial.org Onderwerp: Joint GeoSPARQL SWG and GeoSemantics DWG meeting & call for Chairs We are excited to announce a combined GeoSemantics DWG meeting and GeoSPARQL SWG meeting at the virtual OGC meeting next week. The GeoSPARQL SWG had a first, informal meeting last week but will have its official revival next week at: Thursday September 17th, 8:00 AM - 9:30 AM EDT (12PM-13:30PM UTC). Agenda: GeoSemantics DWG: 1. David Blodgett (USGS): Engineering Report: Second Environmental Linked Features Experiment 2. Sergio Taleisnik (Skymantics): TB-16 Aviation ER 3. GeoSPARQL SWG kickoff It is still possible to get listed as Charter Members in the document and join the group with voting rights from the outset. Please let one of the Geosemantics Chairs (Linda van den Brink and Joseph Abhayaratna) know in advance or during the meeting so that we can add you to the list. Any OGC member is eligible to do so, regardless of membership level. Joseph and myself are convening this SWG meeting, but there are no appointed Chairs, yet. The GeoSPARQL SWG is seeking nominations for chairs. Please provide nominations (you can nominate yourself) in a reply to this message. The goals of the first meeting will be to: - vote on Chairs, - determine whether we make this a public SWG (like OGC API - Features), and - review and prioritize the issues submitted to the OGC Standards Tracker as per the Charter. Regards, Jo and Linda
