I believe it used to be a process in the old ssn just because of Sensorml. Also if you look at the old ssn finalreport it developed a (slightly buggy) rdfa approach for marking up sensorml with ssn ontology concepts. I think this is not what you mean, but it might be a good place to start? -Kerry -----Original Message----- From: Josh Lieberman via GitHub [mailto:sysbot+gh@w3.org] Sent: Tuesday, 7 May 2019 9:26 PM To: public-sdwig@w3.org Subject: Re: [sdw] Articulate how sensorML Sensor models and parameters relate to SSN (#1125) The latter, I believe. A SensorML extension for SSN would be quite valuable. —Josh > Josh Lieberman, Ph.D. > jlieberman@opengeospatial.org > Tel. +1 617 431 6431 > On May 7, 2019, at 3:38 AM, Rob Atkinson <notifications@github.com> wrote: > > O&M has a concept observation procedures, and SensorML codifies a model for this : > > "the procedure property within an Observation instance may reference a SensorML description of the measurement process" > > also > > "As discussed in the Core Concepts, any process can have inputs, outputs, and parameters" > > SSN does not make any reference to such "parameters" although some concepts such as capability are explicitly modelled. > > is this out of scope, an oversight, or a valid concern for an extension? > > — > You are receiving this because you are subscribed to this thread. > Reply to this email directly, view it on GitHub, or mute the thread. -- GitHub Notification of comment by lieberjosh Please view or discuss this issue at https://github.com/w3c/sdw/issues/1125#issuecomment-490039738 using your GitHub account
