Re: F2F meeting in Leuven June 24 - 25

Dear Linda, all,

In case it is not too late, I wonder whether it would be possible to add an item to the agenda of the f2f, concerning the aspects of the new version of DCAT that are relevant to SDWIG.

They are basically summarised in this issue:

https://github.com/w3c/sdw/issues/1123

As DCAT is now on its way to CR, feedback from SDWIG would be important.

Thanks in advance

Andrea

All,

I now have an updated agenda, still a draft, but fully filled.
https://www.w3.org/2017/sdwig/meetings/f2f-4.html

There is still plenty of time and room to shuffle this around and drop topics in favour of others. I want to have an agenda out there, though.

Could the people who are named in the agenda please check if they’re happy with being on there, with the topic as described, length and timing of the time slot etc?
You are:
- Michael Gordon
- Joseph Abhayaratna (I thought it would be interesting to let you update us on the CRS conneg work?)
- Bill Roberts
- Rob Smith
- Chris Little (I put your name against the OWL Time topic)
- Simon Cox (I put your name against the SSN topic, because your name is on the extension doc – but maybe wrong, and also probably a bad time slot for you)

Slots for Tom Kralidis and Amelia Bellamy-Royds are already okay’d.
Breaks are dictated by general OGC meeting agenda.

Linda

Thanks! Yes, for sure WFS SWG and Architecture DWG plus O&M revision. The other slots should work for me, based on the available agendas.

Best regards,
Clemens

Good to hear!

Assuming you’re the most interested in SDW BP related stuff, I’ll try to avoid clashing that with relevant OGC slots. Which are?
- WFS SWG
- Architecture DWG
Anything else?

Hi Linda,

I will be in Leuven and try to attend at least part of the meeting, but I need/want to attend several parallel OGC slots, too.

Best regards,
Clemens

Hi all,

The next F2F meeting of the Spatial Data on the Web Interest Group is coming up – In Leuven, Belgium on the afternoons of 24th and 25th of June.

Let us know if you are planning to attend (remotely attending is also possible)

Also, please provide us with input for the agenda – are there more topics you want to discuss besides the ones listed below (or ones we should drop)? Are the people interested in a topic available both afternoons or only for part of the time? I have not arranged the topics on the agenda yet, since I don’t know if everybody will be available both afternoons.

Finally… let me sneak in a reminder that next week is a focus week, a perfect chance to get some work done and show off in Leuven!

Monday June 24th (all times in CEST)
13:00 – 18:00

Tuesday June 25th
13:00 – 18:00

Possible topics include:
- Intro by chairs
- Lifetime of the group (as it is now, the group will close by the end of 2019)
- Review of strategy funnel [1]
- Statistical data on the Web
- Spatial data on the Web BP implementation reports
- OWL Time issues / amendments
- SSN issues / extensions
- MapML update
- GeoSPARQL – Spatial ontology update
- Coverage JSON
- Geospatial Web Roadmap
- Spatial ontology / GeoSPARQL: update on work starting in OGC GeoSemantics DWG
- Update on CRS conneg work (Jo?)
