Hi Spatial Data on the Web Interest Group (IG) participants, If you were part of the previous *Working Group* (WG) that developed the initial versions of our deliverables, you probably have received a notification over the week-end that you are "no longer participant in the Spatial Data on the Web Working Group". That is normal, and don't worry, the *IG* is still well alive, and you're still part of it! The *WG* was kept alive because W3C process did not allow the *IG* to take over the maintenance of the published Recommendations (SSN Ontology and Time Ontology). That is now doable. As such, the WG is no longer needed and has been closed accordingly. That was the plan I shared last year [1], (with the usual 6 months standardization delay 😉). Just in case, I note closure of the WG does not change anything for the IG and, in particular, if the IG feels that a new WG needs to be created, e.g. to produce updates to the Time Ontology, develop additional ontologies or something else, it can certainly propose a new one! The existence of the WG did not help that in any way: it was only scoped to do maintenance. Thanks, Francois. [1] https://lists.w3.org/Archives/Public/public-sdwig/2017Dec/0012.html
