RE: Spatial Data on the Web Best Practice maintenance

Hi Michael,

I’ll be there! As you know, we’re publishing some spatial Linked Data at the moment, and following the best practices in the process. I’ll get a quick workshop together to collect some feedback from the entire group.

Cheers,
Jo

Dear SDWIG colleagues

In the first teleconference of the group on 25 October (https://www.w3.org/2017/10/25-sdw-minutes.html) a number of us expressed enthusiasm to work on the maintenance of the Spatial Data on the Web Best Practices<https://w3c.github.io/sdw/bp/>

From the minutes I believe the following people said they'd like to participate, and others are of course welcome too:

Me (Michael Gordon)
Evangelos Kalampokis
Chris Little
Andrea Perego
Ed Parsons
Bill Roberts
Joseph Abhayaratna
Clemens Portele

As this is a maintenance and improvement activity, I’d suggest we have 1 hour calls every month – if possible before the plenary call however I’d like some feedback on appropriateness of timezones etc.

If we’re in agreement then with the next plenary call scheduled for 29 November at 20:00 UTC, we could have the first call on 29 November, 19:00 UTC.

Francois: would it be possible to use the same webex at that time?

I’d suggest we start this series by discussing any feedback we’re aware of – certainly here at OS, the Standards Community group have met and discussed the Best Practices and have some feedback that might (or might not!) provide a useful place to start.

Best Regards,
Michael
