In other news, the web ontology for coordinate reference systems (CRS) is slowly coming to fruition. Beyond the OWL documents we now have tools to transform PROJ and WKT definitions into RDF and back. Encoding the results in JSON-LD is in itself a major leap forwards in interoperability in this field. The remaining step is the actual spec document (which will be compiled to ReSpec and ASCIIDoc simultaneously).
