Next plenary meeting

Dear SDW-ers,

We have our next plenary call on Thursday, February 3rd at 14:00 UTC. I'm very excited to announce that we will have a presentation and discussion on Solid, a topic we have been meaning to explore. Guest speaker Raf Buyle (Digitaal Vlaanderen, Ghent University, The Flemish Data Utility Company) + colleagues will give an introduction on Solid data pods, and how these are being implemented in the Flemish Data Utility Company. He will also discuss with us what the relevance of Solid technology might be for spatial data. Below the agenda there is some background reading material on this topic!

Agenda:
- Solid introduction and discussion (Raf Buyle + colleagues, 30 minutes presentation + 15 minutes discussion);
- OGC testbed results/demo in relation to WebVMT (Rob Smith, 10 minutes);
- Update of SDW Best Practices work + advertise next subgroup call (Timo Homburg, 5 minutes).

Background material
- The Flemish Data Utility Company: https://www.vlaanderen.be/digitaal-vlaanderen/het-vlaams-datanutsbedrijf/the-flemish-data-utility-company

NB Today the subgroup working on the Best Practices will meet. They are using the same time slot and the same meeting link as the plenary meetings. Please attend if you are interested in that work.

See you all next week!!
