RE: SPARQL queries in SSN extensions

Hey Linda –

Actually I did have a go at SHACL but couldn’t get the CONSTRUCT function to work (within the TopBraid engine anyway), so I reverted to SPIN. The SPIN rules are embedded in the ssn-ext RDF file – see

https://github.com/w3c/sdw/blob/gh-pages/proposals/ssn-extensions/rdf/ssn-ext.ttl

If you know how to translate these into SHACL then great!

Simon

Subject: SPARQL queries in SSN extensions

Hi Simon,

I meant to ask you when we were discussing this in the f2f just now, but we ran out of time.

Did you consider using RDF data shapes instead of SPARQL queries to capture the rules for the extensions? Or is it something different you are trying to do?

Linda
