coverage subgroup

Hi all

Sorry, we'll have to skip the normal coverage subgroup call this week,
because Maik and I are not available.

The next one on 27 July will definitely go ahead.

In the mean time, I have had a useful working session with Maik and Jon - I
am in the process of writing up a note on that.  I'll put it on the wiki
shortly and highlight on the mailing list.
