Likewise, I am new to W3C groups, and new to this group.

My name is Marc Ubaldino, systems and geospatial engineer at MITRE (http://www.mitre.org/). I focus more on text analytics work and less on the actual geospatial standards. I will be mostly in listen mode. Some of our gazetteering, geocoding, geospatial work has been open sourced under projects such as OpenSextant (http://github.com/OpenSextant, opensextant.org).

Kind regards,
Marc Ubaldino
